We sadly note the passing of the following horses:

Hesper
1991-Sept 3, 2014

Hesper

Hesper (Horizon/Avanti) was one of our best producing Premium mares. She produced numerous offspring, including dressage competitors up to Intermediare I, with 3 FEI level offspring so far. She had huge elastic gaits and a sweet, bold personality. Our only regret was that she gave us so few daughters to carry on her line. More photos of her offspring and video on her Web Page. She was an excellent mother and we are grateful that she was able to spend her last year in grass pasture in Oregon with new owner Lynn Tidd prior to delivering what was to be her last foal. We had hoped she would have several years of retirement, but it was not to be....

Viva
1980-Sept 18, 2002

Viva, the consumate mom, with one of her foals

Viva (Avanti/Wiebfang) was one of our foundation mares and produced numerous offspring, from premium mares and foals and a winner of the AHS Mare Performance Test, to breed show winners and dressage competitors up to Intermediare I. All of her sons and daughters share a people loving personality and a strong desire to please. She was an excellent mother and we will greatly miss her sweet presence in our lives.

High Moon
1989-2001

High Moon, sorely missed

High Moon (Horizon/Viva) brought his unique character to all who knew him. A tall elegant horse with wonderful gaits, he always liked to be the center of attention. After showing to second level with owner Srina Janice Spur, High Moon found a new home with Rene and Stephen Ferhman. Unfortunately this relationship was cut short by botulism. Although Rene and Stephen only had Moon for a relatively short period, he immediately became an integral part of the family and they were devastated by his loss.
